The wind and snow fall sideways, feeling lucky to study the view

PriceFrom kr999.00

The wind and snow fall sideways, but you feel lucky to be able to study the view over the frozen Aurlandsfjord.

The day is dressed in the rough veil of winter, and the snowdrifts dance sideways in the biting wind. The Aurlandsfjord lies silent beneath the dark mountainsides, a mirror of the sky's gloomy mood, broken only by the first cautious layers of ice that have begun to settle on the water.

The mountains, mighty and silent, rise from the depths of the fjord like guardians of the landscape. Their white peaks disappear into a wall of low-hanging clouds, as if the world beyond is just a vague memory.

Even in the grip of a winter storm, there is a calm – a feeling of being alone for a moment with the mighty forces of nature. The snow stings your face, the wind howls between the valley sides, and yet you stand here, bound by a view that few get to experience in its most raw and untamed form.
