Dan Skovli is a nature photographer with strong roots in Northern Norway, where sharp weather changes, arctic light and untouched landscapes shape his expression. He seeks moments where nature shows both strength and vulnerability, and allows the motifs to arise in the encounter between light, weather and chance.
His work is characterized by raw moods, deep contrasts and an intuitive approach to terrain and moments. Dan doesn't just photograph nature – he documents its rhythm and personality, as it is here and now.
