Photographer Espen Widding
Espen Widding finds his inspiration in Iceland's dramatic landscape and the unique light that changes from calm to power in an instant. He is also located in Western Norway, and much of his work is taken from this region - nature, coast and weather that give the images a distinctive depth and atmosphere.
He works with clean lines, large spaces and clear compositions, where nature is allowed to be both raw and poetic at the same time. His photographs are characterized by precision, patience and a strong sense of atmosphere. Espen seeks motifs that carry an inner story – places that invite silence, wonder and the experience of being small in the face of nature's enormous forces.
