Cramped between the old log houses in Røros

 Between the weathered timber walls, which bear the marks of centuries of weather, wind and human life, a narrow path winds quietly forward. The rough logs stand close together, almost as if whispering old stories to each other, while the low autumn sun casts a warm glow over both woodwork and stone wall. Yellow leaves lie strewn like a soft carpet on the ground, reminding us of the inevitable passing of time, but at the same time allowing Røros to stand firm in its authentic splendor. Here, in this narrow space between the buildings of the past, you can feel the presence of history up close – a silence filled with soul, tradition and timeless Norwegian cultural heritage.
