The boathouses in Fjellbacka

Along the shiny, icy water, the boathouses reflect their red and gray facades, as if they themselves wonder about their place in this little paradise. The ancient wooden walls carry the smell of sea spray and wind, and the crooked piers extend gently out into the water, as if to capture memories of busy fishing days.
 Behind them looms the bare rock face, sun-kissed and golden in the winter light, while white houses climb the hillside like pearls on a string. All around lies a silence, broken only by the faint crackling of the ice and the cries of seagulls in the distance – a tribute to the eternal pulse of the coast.
