 On a snowy hill in the wilderness, the vulture stands, frozen and timeless, shaped by human hands but abandoned to the merciless grip of nature. The temperature has dropped to minus 40 degrees, and everything is covered in hoarfrost, which in winter itself has painted the world in the white veil of frost.
 The sun never rises, but casts its last, faint rays along the horizon. The pastel colors of the sky – a soft mix of pink, purple and blue – contrast with the crushing cold.
