 As a silent witness to centuries of life and faith, the old church stands tall against the golden rays of the spring sun. The red-painted wooden body rises proudly, crowned with a spire that points straight to the sky – and beyond, to the mighty mountain that stands guard behind. The clouds dance low over the mountainside, like a veil of the passage of time, but the church stands motionless, safe in shelter from whatever may come.
 Out here, where nature is both vast and close, the earthly and the sacred unite. The bare oak in front of the church has not yet folded its leaves, but the light tells us that spring is near. The silence carries a calm, an eternity in the moment – as if the mountains themselves are listening to the chimes of a bell from another century.
